We are pleased to announce that founding shareholder, J. Wells Robinson, has been appointed to serve on the prestigious Leadership Council for the Alabama Center for Real Estate (“ACRE”) on the campus of the University of Alabama. ACRE issued the following press release announcing Wells’ appointment:
Wells practices law in Montgomery, Alabama, where he focuses on civil law matters, particularly transactional and litigation issues involving real property. He has received three degrees from the University of Alabama (bachelors, MBA, and law degree) and has been admitted to practice law in Alabama, Florida, and the District of Columbia. In addition to his law practice, Wells is a registered lobbyist who utilizes his experience in government to find solutions on behalf of his clients. As a student, Wells was actively involved with the Alabama Center for Real Estate, including his membership in the Rho Epsilon Real Estate Fraternity. He also studied abroad at Oxford University in Oxford, England, and Universidad de La Habana in Havana, Cuba, and was inducted into nine honor societies at UA. Wells and his wife, Megan, have a two year old daughter and they are expecting a son in September. Although he spends most of his free time with his family, Wells enjoys working with charitable organizations that focus on issues relating to cancer, disability access to sports, and education. Aside from his passion for Alabama Athletics, Wells is a fan of the Atlanta Braves and Washington Redskins. Council members focus on long-term growth and development of the Center, provide insight and counsel on current market trends, and enhance the sustainability of ACRE through vision, resourcefulness, and creativity.
